Our Foundation consists of several volunteers who devote their hearts and free time to solicit donations for our canines!

Our canines are comprised of five teams located throughout Mohave County. We currently have two teams in Kingman, one in Lake Havasu City, one in the Fort Mohave/Mohave Valley area, and one on the Arizona Strip. 

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office K9 Foundation was brought back to full-time status under the command of Sheriff Doug Schuster in 2017, when the Foundation purchased four canines and selected four handlers. In 2019, we added our fifth canine team. 

The Mohave County Sheriffs Office K9 Foundation mission is to promote our 501 (c)3 non-profit organization to educate the citizens of Mohave County the importance and significance of having the canines in the field, at our schools, and at special events. Through public education and assistance, we are able to fully fund our canine teams within Mohave County.
